Magh Mela is one of India’s most important annual Hindu pilgrimages, held in Prayagraj at the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers, known as the Triveni Sangam. The festival takes place during the Hindu month of Magh, when thousands of pilgrims, sadhus and spiritual seekers gather to take a holy dip at the Sangam, believed to cleanse the soul and bring spiritual merit. The atmosphere is vibrant and deeply devotional, with temporary camps, colourful processions, religious discourses and rituals taking place throughout the Mela grounds.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi – Welcome to India
Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and unwind after your journey.

Day 2: Delhi – Varanasi
(Train: Vande Bharat 0600-1400 Varanasi (Daily except Thu)
Welcome to the Spiritual Capital of India. Transfer from the hotel to New Delhi railway station to board the train for Varanasi. (Breakfast will be served on board) Upon arrival at Varanasi railway station, you will be met and assisted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Varanasi, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, is India's spiritual heartland. Situated on the sacred River Ganges, the city has attracted pilgrims, scholars and travellers for centuries. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey.

Day 3: Varanasi – Sunrise Boat Ride & Old City
Rise early this morning for a private boat ride on the River Ganges. As the sun rises over the eastern horizon, watch the ancient ghats come to life. Pilgrims descend the steps to perform their morning prayers and ritual bathing, while temples and historic palaces glow in the soft morning light. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, explore the atmospheric lanes of the old city, including the area surrounding Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of Hinduism's most revered temples. Continue to the sacred ghats and witness the timeless rituals for which Varanasi is renowned. Later, visit Sarnath, approximately 10 km from Varanasi, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Visit the Dhamek Stupa, archaeological remains and the Sarnath Museum, subject to opening days. Return to Varanasi.

Day 4: Varanasi – Subh-e-Banaras – Sunrise Experience
Subh-e-Banaras, meaning “Morning of Banaras”, is a beautiful early-morning cultural and spiritual experience on the banks of the River Ganges. Begin before sunrise with a peaceful walk along the ghats, as the city slowly awakens to the sound of temple bells, devotional chants and prayers. Witness local priests and pilgrims performing their morning rituals beside the sacred river, while the first rays of sunlight illuminate the ancient ghats and temples. The experience offers a serene and authentic glimpse into the timeless spiritual traditions of Varanasi, away from the bustle of the later hours. In the evening, proceed to the banks of the Ganges to witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. As darkness falls, priests perform a beautifully choreographed ceremony with lamps, incense and chanting, creating one of India's most memorable spiritual experiences.

Day 5: Varanasi – Prayagraj
(Drive: approx. 130 / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Prayagraj is one of India's holiest cities, revered for the sacred Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati are believed to meet. During the Magh Mela, the city becomes a vast pilgrimage centre, attracting devotees, sadhus and spiritual seekers from across India. Later, visit the Magh Mela grounds and experience the extraordinary atmosphere of this important religious gathering. Explore the temporary camps, colourful processions and spiritual centres, while observing pilgrims undertaking their daily rituals.

Day 6: Magh Mela – Holy Bath at Triveni Sangam
An early start this morning for the principal experience of your stay in Prayagraj – a visit to the Triveni Sangam during the Magh Mela. Travel towards the Sangam, where thousands of pilgrims gather to perform Magh Snan, the sacred ritual bath. Witness the deeply spiritual spectacle of devotees offering prayers, lighting lamps and performing ceremonies on the banks of the holy rivers. After the Sangam experience, return to the hotel for breakfast and time to relax. Later, return to the Magh Mela to explore the vast pilgrim settlement, where you may encounter sadhus, religious teachers and devotees gathered for prayers, discourses and spiritual activities.

Day 7: Prayagraj-Ayodhya
(Drive: approx. 170 / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Ayodhya, is one of India's most important sacred cities and is traditionally revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, visit the Saryu River and Ram Ki Paidi, the extensive series of ghats along the river. In the evening, witness the Saryu Aarti, a beautiful devotional ceremony as lamps are offered to the sacred river amidst chanting and prayers.

Day 8: Ayodhya – Ram Mandir & Sacred Sites
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Ayodhya. Visit the magnificent Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, the temple complex built at the sacred site traditionally associated with the birthplace of Lord Rama. Allow sufficient time for security procedures and darshan.
Continue to Hanuman Garhi, one of Ayodhya's most important temples, dedicated to Lord Hanuman and situated on a hilltop approached by a flight of steps. Later, visit Kanak Bhawan, renowned for its beautifully decorated images of Rama and Sita, followed by other important temples and sacred sites in the old city. Return to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 9: Ayodhya – Delhi
Train: Vande Bharat, 15:25-23:40 hours – Daily except Wed. Breakfast at hotel. Transfer from hotel to Ayodhya railway station in time to board train for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi railway station, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure
